The Turkish performances and organization of “L’encontre / Karşılaşma,” a show by French dancer and choreographer Charles Cre-Ange, performed in France with Mihran Tomasyan, one of our company’s dancers.

Set in an atmosphere reminiscent of a black-and-white film, “L’encontre / The Encounter” is influenced by absurdist theatre and inspired by readings of Pinter and Ionesco. The work blends the burlesque worlds of Charles Chaplin and Buster Keaton with Black American music. “L’encontre / The Encounter” is a fusion of laughter and seriousness on stage, centered on two hired killers who are unaware of what or whom they are waiting for in a room.
